Cargill Joy Poultry Meats Production, Inc. (C-Joy), is a joint venture between Cargill and Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC). With a processing capacity of 45 million chickens per year, the plant is the largest in the Philippines and provides dressed and marinated chicken to meet the increased demand at JFC brands in the country. C-Joy purchased a total of 50 units of Mettler Toledo IND570 Indicators and scale platforms are used in their production line weighing dressed chicken and other ingredients. The scales are all IP69k rated used in a hygienic area of the plant. The IND570 indicators are all connected to their network that monitors the output and efficiency of each line. This solution assures traceability of all their weighing transactions.
